Notre Histoire

Built for Different Minds.

We didn't just design a planner. We engineered a visual system that works *with* your neurodivergent brain, not against it.

Person writing in a dark aesthetic room

The Origin

"I had an entire graveyard of abandoned paper planners."

It started in 2021. Following a late ADHD diagnosis, I suddenly understood why every single neurotypical productivity advice had failed me. The rigid 7 AM to 10 PM hourly grids. The tiny checkboxes. The overwhelming "yearly goal" pages that induced immediate paralysis.

I realized that traditional planners demand executive function just to *use* them. As someone with ADHD, I needed the tool to provide executive function, not demand more of it.

So, I opened my iPad. I threw away the notion of dates that induce guilt when you miss a day. I incorporated "Dopamine Menus" to hack my neurotransmitters. I added "Brain Dump" areas to offload the swirling chaos of thoughts.

"The first prototype wasn't beautiful, but for the first time in my life, I used a planner for more than 14 days straight."

When I shared it on TikTok, the video blew up. Thousands of people realized they weren't broken—their tools were just wrong. BlueprintPlanners was born.

Our Journey

From a personal coping mechanism to a globally loved neurodivergent tool.

1

DÉBUT 2021

The Diagnosis & The First Draft

After receiving an ADHD diagnosis as an adult, the founder creates the very first hyperlinked digital PDF simply to manage her own chaotic freelance work schedule. It includes the first iteration of the 'Brain Dump' framework.

2

OCTOBRE 2022

Going Viral

A rough video showcasing the "Dopamine Menu" page design hits 2 million views on social media overnight. Thousands of requests pour in asking how to buy the file. The website is hastily built in 48 hours to fulfill demand.

3

2023

Expanding the Ecosystem

Launch of the Student Planner and Finance Tracker. The core system is rewritten with thousands of hyperlinks rendering page navigation completely frictionless. Hundreds of satisfied users worldwide.

AUJOURD'HUI

A Community Driven Movement

We're now a small dedicated team working alongside neuro-psychologists to iterate on our templates. The goal remains the same: reduce friction, increase calm.

Core Principles

How we construct calm.

Every single pixel in our PDF files is placed intentionally. Here is our design philosophy.

Zero Friction Entry

No dates to fill out. No complex setup. The less activation energy required to open the planner and write the first word, the higher the chance you'll actually use it.

Forgiveness by Design

Missed a week? A traditional planner leaves a blank page that causes shame and triggers avoidance. Our system is undated and modular. You just swipe to the next clean slate.

Visual Rest

We use scientifically backed warm tones, ample whitespace, and strict typographical hierarchy to prevent visual sensory overload.

Hyperlinked Speed

Every tab, every date circle, every index item is a clickable hyperlink. We spend hundreds of hours coding the PDF structure so navigating takes milliseconds.

Dopamine Driven

Incorporating psychological frameworks like the 'Dopamine Menu' to help users actively choose healthy stimulation rather than falling into doomscrolling.

Community Validated

We don't guess what works. Every layout goes through beta testing with hundreds of neurodivergent users before being integrated into our official templates.

Craftsmanship

Anatomy of a Hyperlinked Document.

People often ask why they can't just make this in Canva themselves. The brutal truth? It takes approximately 120 hours of coding and manual linking to build a single master file.

Architecture

We use professional UX software (Figma & InDesign) to calculate tap-targets. The tabs must be large enough to hit with a finger, but small enough to not intrude.

Compression

Despite having over 800 highly detailed graphical pages, our proprietary export settings crush the file size down to under 15MB so your iPad never lags during page turns.

The Humans Behind The Code

We use the products we build.

Our entire team identifies as neurodivergent. We understand the struggles because we live them every single day.

Frequently Asked

The most common questions we get about our origin and methods.

Why PDF and not a native App?
The act of physically handwriting (even with an Apple Pencil on glass) engages the Reticular Activating System in the brain. Studies show that people with ADHD process and encode information far better when writing by hand compared to typing in an app. We chose the interactive PDF medium specifically to preserve the cognitive benefits of handwriting while eliminating the clutter of paper.
Do you donate to ADHD charities?
Yes. A strict 5% of all our net profit is donated quarterly to CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) and various neurodiversity advocacy groups to fund research and provide resources for underprivileged families seeking diagnosis.
Are you planning to make a physical paper version?
No. We believe strongly in the digital transition. Paper planners cannot be instantly erased, they cannot hold infinitely duplicatable pages like the Brain Dump, they cause physical clutter (which induces anxiety), and they are environmentally unsustainable given how often ADHDers tear pages out and start over. Digital solves all of these friction points.
How do you avoid burnout as an ADHD team?
We work async. We have a strict 4-day work week. We don't have mandatory morning standups. We use our own dopamine menus to regulate our days. Our company culture is a living experiment in neuro-inclusive work environments, and we are happier and more productive than we ever were in corporate offices.
