Cookie Policy

Last updated: March 15, 2026

This cookie policy describes how BlueprintCommerce LLC ("we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and other similar technologies on the blueprintplanners.com website. Its purpose is to inform you, transparently, about the use of data during your browsing.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file (usually consisting of letters and numbers) deposited and saved on the hard drive of the computer, smartphone, or tablet you use to browse a website. This text file allows us to identify your browser during its validity period.

Cookies perform many different functions: for example, they allow you to easily navigate between pages, remember your preferences, remember items in your shopping cart, secure the payment gateway, and generally improve your experience as a user of the website.

2. Why are we not overwhelmed with Cookie pop-ups?

One of the values of BlueprintCommerce LLC is reducing mental exhaustion ("friction"). If you've noticed the absence of a blinking cookie banner taking up half your screen obtrusively to force you to accept or refuse 800 advertising partners, here is the reason:

We have consciously decided not to use cookies for statistical, retargeting, or social media sharing purposes in the initial configurations. The BlueprintPlanners site does not track your visits with Facebook Pixel or TikTok, and does not sell any session data to information brokers for aggressive advertising retargeting. Consequently, since advertising cookies are not present, we have no obligation to force a GDPR consent banner on you for this.

3. What kind of cookies do we use and why?

European legislation (GDPR, ePrivacy Directive) and Californian legislation (CCPA) allow websites to deposit cookies without requiring the explicit consent of the end user only if they are strictly necessary for the functioning of the service and the security of the user.

Essential Cookies (Strictly Necessary)

These cookies are crucial for the proper functioning of our site and cannot be disabled in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions made by you. They include:

Source / Cookie Name Retention period Strict Purpose (Reason)
__stripe_mid
__stripe_sid
1 year
30 minutes
Stripe.js: Critical cookies for the detection and prevention of banking fraud during payment phases. Mandatory for PCI security (Payment Card Industry). Do not track beyond payments.
fastapi_session Browser Session This functional server cookie temporarily maintains technical information and variables of a user browsing our products if their query state needs to be stored. It is destroyed when the browser is closed.
Admin-Auth 24 hours This cookie (exclusively if you log in as a site administrator) allows connection to the management system to persist via BasicAuth. Regular users are not affected by this cookie.

Note: You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the site may not work or your payments may be rejected because your session will not include the anti-fraud footprint required by the bank.

4. Additional Third-Party Services (Performance)

If you ever notice the presence of other cookies (related to anonymized analytics), please note the company's stance:

  • We prefer hosting fonts locally or managed without specific tracking (Google Fonts does not issue persistent cookies to remunerate us).
  • If a lightweight tracking system is used (such as basic server metrics: page visits, clicks without personal IPs), the collection of raw IP data is generally hashed or anonymized.

5. How to manage or disable cookies via your browser?

Even though our cookies only concern payment security (essentials), you maintain full control over your browser, and with most of them, you have the option to disable the recording of these files by modifying its settings.

To manage cookies according to your expectations, we invite you to set your browser:

  • Chrome: Click the menu (three dots on the right). Select Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.
  • Firefox: Click the menu (three horizontal lines on the right). Select Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Block all cookies.
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data.

6. Final statements

Information silos, restricted data, and absence of personalized advertising exploitation... Your user experience, for the comfort of your neurodiversity, remains our guiding principle. By keeping the system technically lean, we reduce the chances of data leaks.
